Union Bank, Ad Agency Recognized With Prism & Telly Awards
In April and May 2007, Union Bank and advertising agency Swanson Russell & Associates received kudos and some nice hardware.
Union Bank was recognized with a Prism Award from the Nebraska chapter of the American Marketing Association in the “Corporate Identity—Large Business” category for the branding of our Su Banco (your bank) program. The program’s name, logo, communications and execution were all factors in being selected for the award. All entries are reviewed by a panel of out-of-state judges from another AMA chapter.
The 28th Annual Telly Awards recognized outstanding local, regional and national cable television commercials and programs, video and film productions.
Both the “Choir” and “Band” spots received honors and the “Raise Your Expectations” overall television campaign earned a third 2007 Telly. The two commercials were selected from over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents, many from large corporations and agencies with budgets much larger than our own. Of those entries, only a small percentage are deemed to be Telly-worthy. Entries do not compete against each other; instead, they are judged against a high standard of merit. All judges are top advertising and production professionals and past Telly Winners.
“We’re very pleased to once again have our commercials recognized by the Telly Awards for their creative excellence”, said Brian Boeche, Executive Creative Director for Swanson Russell. “More importantly, we’re happy they are being so well received by our viewing audience. The whole team, our creative people and the marketing group at the bank, should feel good about delivering such a strong service message in such a fun and engaging way. It’s a great partnership that produces great work.”
