Commercial State Bank of Bonner Springs, Kansas Now a Part
of the Union Bank Family

Lincoln, NE—On April 1, 2006, Commercial State Bank became a part
of Union Bank & Trust Company. Union Bank & Trust was founded in 1917 and purchased by the Dunlap family in 1965 and still is owned and operated by the family today. "We are very excited to soon be serving the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville communities and having Commercial State Bank become a part of Union Bank & Trust, said President & CEO Angie Muhleisen. "Our culture is to develop long-lasting customer
relationships built on open communications, flexibility, and a desire
to help customers achieve their financial dreams."

In addition to the core consumer banking services of free checking, attractive interest rates on savings and certificates of deposit, free online banking, free debit cards, etc., Union Bank & Trust will offer a number of new or expanded products and services including a wider array of Mortgage Loan products, additional Commercial Lending and Cash Management Services, Commercial Real Estate Loans, Personal Trust and Wealth Management services, Investment services, Employer-Sponsored Retirement Plans and Equipment Leasing. "It is very important to us that we provide the financial services that are needed in the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville area," said Muhleisen. "We don't take a cookie-cutter approach, believing that what works in one community will work in another. Rather, our products and services are adapted to meet the needs of the community; not the other way around."

Commercial State Bank is located in Bonner Springs, Kansas and has two
bank offices. With $85 million in assets it serves the rapidly growing
and developing Bonner Springs/Edwardsville area in Wynandotte County,
Kansas. This area includes the Kansas Speedway, Cabela's, Nebraska
Furniture Mart and the new Legends shopping center—all at the intersection
of I-70 and I-435. Wyandotte County is adjacent to Kansas City, Missouri
and is a part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Union Bank & Trust has thirty-four full service and loan production
offices in Nebraska. In addition to Lincoln and Omaha, branches are located in nineteen Nebraska communities ranging in population from 200 to 44,000. It is the third largest privately-owned bank in Nebraska with bank assets of $1.3 billion and trust assets under management of $7.8 billion as of December 31, 2005.
