Bank Recognizes 15-Year Employees
Lincoln, NE—Fourteen Union Bank & Trust employees
celebrated 15-year anniversaries in 2005, and are being recognized for
their sustained
dedication and service. These individuals include Jim Baumann, Darlene
Christensen, Alena Cline, Bryce Cuddy, Deborah Dinkelman, Virginia Harms,
Tanya Lebsock, Ruth Micheel, Brad Nelson, Jeanne Niemann, Laura Nutter,
Sharon Smith, Julie Speedlin, and Bob Urban.
Jim Baumann started at Union Bank as a part-time Check Sorter Operator,
and is currently a Derivatives and Securitization Accountant. A graduate
of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, Baumann went on to earn
a Master of Arts in Management from Doane College.
Darlene Christensen has upheld the high standards of customer service
that Union Bank is known for. As a Customer Service Representative and
Teller, she is an important part of the daily operations at Union Bank's
location at 68th & O Street in Lincoln.
Alena Cline joined Union Bank as a Mail Clerk. In her current position
as a Statement Clerk, she is responsible for processing customer statements,
assisting with payment ATM transactions and processing bank notices.
Currently a Consumer Loans Assistant, Bryce Cuddy began his Union Bank
career as a Balance Clerk. He earned an Associates Degree from Southeast
Community College and went on to graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Deb Dinkelman is not only dedicated to Union Bank, she is also very giving
to the David City community. As a Customer Service Representative, she
assists customers in various capacities. As a volunteer supporting many
endeavors, Dinkelman was recognized by the David City Chamber of Commerce
as the Outstanding Community Volunteer in 2004.
Virginia Harms is an integral part of the daily operations of the Commercial
Loan department. She is responsible for distributing daily loan notices
to various departments and scanning loan documentation on the imaging
system among other duties.
Promoted to Trust Compliance Officer in 2003, Tanya Lebsock is responsible
for compliance within Union Bank's Trust division. She graduated from
the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business Administration and holds the Certified Securities Operations
Professional designation.
A Customer Service Representative, Ruth Micheel has been providing Union
Bank's hallmark customer service in the bank's Ainsworth location for
her entire tenure.
As First Vice President in Credit Administration, Brad Nelson oversees
loan policy, credit analysis, loan compliance and credit approval. Nelson
graduated from Kearney State College with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Administration. He is active in Junior Achievement, the Nebraska
Bankers Association and the Midlands Chapter of the RMA.
Jeanne Niemann has been a part of Union Bank's Customer Service team for
her entire tenure, holding several titles including Supervisor. In her
current role as an On Call employee, Niemann works as both a Teller and
in New Accounts.
Laura Nutter has held many positions within Customer Service. Her responsibilities
as a teller also include vault teller and teller training. Nutter earned
an Associate degree in Business Administration-Accounting from Southeast
Community College and is an active member of Capitol City Christian Church.
Sharon Smith has provided excellent service to Union Bank's customers
in David City, relying on her 27 years of banking experience. She is also
very active in the community as President of Nebraska Czechs, Inc., member
of the David City Chamber of Commerce, and member and past president of
St. Mary's PCCW, among other organizations.
Julie Speedlin's tenure at Union Bank has provided her with a great deal
of experience in Customer Service. Her part-time status has allowed her
to raise her three children while being an important part of the Union
Bank team.
As Vice President in Agricultural Loans, Bob Urban has over 30 years of
experience in the field. He is responsible for creating lending solutions
for agricultural customers, focusing primarily on southeastern Nebraska.
Urban graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis on Business.
