Union Bank's 2009 Magic Moments Program
to Help Lincoln Families In Need

Union Bank is excited to announce the seventh “Magic Moments” program this holiday season. The Magic Moments program is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community by granting special requests to individuals and families who are less fortunate than others. With your help, we can identify those who most need special assistance.

Community members are encouraged to submit letters on behalf of neighbors, friends or family who are in need and deserving a special favor. Ten individuals will receive their wishes on each business day from December 7 through 18.

"We introduced the Magic Moments program in 2003 as a great opportunity to give back to the community and do something for individuals and families in need. It’s such a rewarding program – we’re looking forward to brightening the holidays for this year’s recipients," said Kevin Keller, First Vice President—Marketing of Union Bank & Trust Company.

Nominations for the 2009 program will be accepted beginning October 20 through November 20. There are several ways to submit a nomination:

  • Complete the Online Nomination Form
  • Pick up a nomination form at any Lincoln Union Bank
  • Send a nomination letter to:
    Union Bank & Trust
    Attn: Marketing (Magic Moments)
    P.O. Box 82535, Lincoln, NE 68501
  • Send a fax to (402) 323-1791

The nomination letter should include the name, address and phone number of the person that is nominated, along with a detailed description of their need or wish. The person submitting the nomination should also include their name, address and phone number.

Teaming up with Union Bank to help communicate the program are KLKN-TV and Clear Channel Lincoln.

Important Information About Procedures For Opening A New Account—

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you; we may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
