Assistant 2—Mortgage Loans
Location: 27th & Pine Lake -Pine Lake West
Hours: M-F, 8:00-4:30                                                               
Salary Range:  $11.19 per hour & up based on qualifications 7 experience

The Mortgage Loan department is seeking a highly analytical, self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail, effective customer service, and computer skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitor Assignment of Trade (AOT) and Hedged Loan fallout
- Perform secondary market pre-purchase audit of all AOT files to ensure loans are investment quality
- Perform detailed audit of In-House/Construction files ensuring regulatory and loan policy compliance
- Audit files for regulatory and investor guideline compliance
- Deliver and follow trades of AOT files
- Work closely with the Investor and Trade desk to ensure all pooled loans are purchased before price expiration
- Perform audit of government loans on behalf of FHA & VA for all government loan file insuring packages
- Clear HUD & VA suspense conditions quickly
- Using delegated authority from FHA & VA issue government insurance certificates for all government loans
- Track and Transmit government insuring fees to FHA and VA weekly
- Determine and communicate appropriate suspense conditions to internal mortgage staff
- Determine when it is appropriate to consult underwriting in Investor suspense resolution
- Determine when it is appropriate and necessary to escalate suspense conditions to Management
- Obtain documentation and clear suspense conditions expeditiously
- Monitor Investor websites daily for suspended loans and pre-purchase notifications
- Resolve all Investor suspended loans and pre-purchase notifications prior to re-price dates
- Assist external customers with questions regarding payments and loan transfers
- Act as a liaison between customers (internal/external) and Investors
- Receive and log Assignment of Trade (AOT) Secondary Market loan files and In-House/Construction loan files
- Block disbursement entries daily for all disbursing warehouse loans
- Maintain file logs and process monthly reports
- Import electronic Credit Packages into Director from underwriting folder
- Scan, Index, Commit, and file warehouse loan files as needed
- Register MIN numbers daily for all disbursing warehouse loans
- Provide extensive backup for all positions in the Post Closing area

Assistant 2—Union Investment Management Group
Salary Range   $11.19 per hour & up based on qualifications & experience                             
Hours: Full time, 8:00am-5:00pm, M-F

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Provide complete administrative duties of assigned accounts including investment agencies, IRA’s, foundations and endowments.
  2. Answer phones, forward messages, fulfill client requests and provide excellent customer service to UIMG clients, acting as a primary or secondary operational contact person for key accounts.
  3. Research and service existing client and officer requests, including but not limited to: distributions and transfers from investment accounts, questions on account activity or statements, and special requests, requiring knowledge of trust accounting and bank accounting systems.
  4. Run performance reports and prepare monthly and quarterly investment updates and fact sheets.
  5. Monitor cash lists of UIMG investment accounts for overdrafts and new contributions to existing accounts.
  6. Prepare quarterly and ad hoc client updates for Portfolio Managers, including regular periodic investment reviews and coordinate the effort to provide select clients with written quarterly update letters and reports.
  7. Organize and track contacts with top-tier clients.
  8. Coordinate new account openings and closings.
  9. Coordinate the creation of marketing materials and proposals for new business (RFP’s).
  10. Act as a liaison between UIMG and other departments of the bank, and be able to facilitate cross-selling when appropriate.
  11. Project a positive image of UIMG and Union Bank’s Trust Department.
  12. Sort and distribute incoming mail.
  13. Provide daily Bloomberg reports for a variety of departments.
  14. File, scan, and index documents and information, and perform other duties as assigned by Investment Officers or Supervisor.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

  1. High attention to detail and accuracy are imperative.
  2. Knowledge of Trust Accounting System, Publisher, Excel, ITI products, and other bank software. (Will be trained to use ETR, FTI, Morningstar, and Bloomberg).
  3. Mid-level knowledge of UIMG investment philosophy.
  4. General knowledge of IRA rules.
  5. Must be a highly organized, self motivated individual able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Branch Supervisor—East O Branch

Salary Range: Grade J:  $34,080 minimum - $51,120 maximum / Exempt – plus monthly incentive

The Customer Service Department is currently seeking a Union Bank employee who desires the opportunity to be the team leader of the 6801 O Street location.  In this position the Branch Supervisor will utilize their ability to organize, support and lead their team while consistently demonstrating their high level of Customer Service. While in this position, the incumbent will have the opportunity to learn about various types of loans and the lending process, sales, budgeting, and further develop their supervision skills. JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage moderate to complex investment portfolios for high-net-worth, trust, and institutional clients
  • Develop and implement investment policies and strategies for individual and institutional clients
  • Conduct investment reviews for high profile clients and institutional boards and committees
