A cell phone is all you need to access your account.

Let’s face it—you’re not always around a computer or a bank branch when you need to know information about your checking account. With free Mobile Banking, all you need is your cell phone for direct access to balances and transaction history—you can even transfer funds from another account. It has all of the security of Online Banking, and all of the convenience of your cell phone.

There is no charge for utilizing Mobile Banking; however, your cell phone carrier's standard text messaging rates will apply.

You can access key account information, including:

  • Balances
  • Transaction History
  • Transferring funds between accounts
  • Transferring funds to a regular loan payment
  • e-Alerts

How to sign up for Mobile Banking:

  1. Log-in to your Online Banking account from ubt.com
  2. Click on the “User Options” tab from the menu
  3. Select “Mobile Banking Enrollment” from the list
  4. This will bring up a screen that requires the following information
    1. Mobile Phone Number
    2. Cell Phone Carrier (select from a drop down box)
    3. Mobile Banking PIN
    4. Confirm Mobile Banking PIN
  5. Once you complete this information, you will automatically receive a text message from the bank.  The text message will contain a one-time link that takes you to a unique log-in screen.  This text message should be saved until you are ready to log-in.

How to log in to Mobile Banking:

  1. Locate the text message from Union Bank & Trust and select the link within the message.**

  2. Log-in using your current Access ID (from Online Banking) and the Mobile Banking PIN you selected during enrollment.  Click submit.

  3. You now have access to your account information through your cell phone.  You will also receive a new text message from the bank containing a new one-time link that can be used the next time you want to log in.

**Some cell phones may not have the technology to have a hyperlink within the text message.  If this is the case, please enter https://onlinebanking.ubt.com/mobile and save it as a Favorite. Then complete steps 2 and 3 above.

For example, https://onlinebanking.ubt.com/mobi.asp?OTP=123456, in this text the One Time Password would be 123456

If you no longer have the text message, you may request that a new one be sent using the following instructions:

      1. Go to Union Bank’s Mobile log-in at https://onlinebanking.ubt.com/mobile.
      2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “One Time Password”
      3. Enter your Access ID and select “Submit”
      4. A new text message will be sent to your cell phone
