"Called Me on My Birthday"
"I recently asked a friend, 'Do you know who called me on my birthday? My banker, Vickie.'" His daytime nurse said, 'I wish my banker would care that much to call me on my birthday.' Everyone heard about the Union Bank & Trust banker that truly cares!"
"Willingness to Help Was to be Commended"
"Over the last two weeks I’ve been trying to correct an error made by an Iowa bank. While dealing with this bank and another bank, we’ve come to appreciate the exceptional customer service at Union Bank. Kathy, Gena, David and Felipe were helpful, providing suggestions for resolving our situation and have been extremely kind, patient and respectful. Their willingness to help me instead of turning our situation to a collection agency was to be commended. We’ve now closed our Iowa accounts and are in the process of consolidating that money into Union Bank accounts. While we aren’t your largest customer in terms of dollars deposited, we can’t imagine trusting our money with any other organization."

"You have three of the nicest, happy & efficient people working at this branch. While I wasn’t having the best of days, I came into the bank with 2 screaming kids and in a bad mood. Anthony and Kelley gave the kids cookies while Megan explained how we would take care of my transaction. My husband and I were so impressed we are moving all of our accounts to Union! I’ve never called to compliment any service I’ve ever received but this time I thought I would due to the exceptional service and staff at this branch."

"A Marvelous Job"
As a small business owner, I am all too aware that we get more negative and contrary mail than we do complimentary. For that reason, I thought I would send you a letter singing the praises of one of your employees.
I opened a new checking account for my deceased wife's estate at the branch office on 3643 South 48th St. It was an early Saturday morning and they were having some trouble with the computer, but she did the most marvelous job helping me that morning. She was dressed comfortably and modestly. She was upbeat. It was all done quickly and efficiently and she had just the right tone to her voice explaining things, but not sounding condescending.
That morning it was just not her, but also her co-workers. One staff member behind the teller window did a fantastic job helping a blind gentleman that morning. It was just a marvel to see a small town atmosphere at Union Bank. I told myself then and there that I needed to write a letter. So, here it is.

I don’t know where you find your employees but we should find a way to bottle the magic formula and sell it to other companies.
