"Professional, Friendly and Attention to Detail"
"I’ve been a client of Debbie’s since 1999 when I obtained
my first home mortgage. Since then, I’ve been a recurrent
client of hers for home refinancing. The reason for my
loyalty is simple—Debbie is very professional, friendly and
has always done an excellent job for me. I appreciate her
attention to detail and her ability to convey that detail to
me in a way that makes sense. I’ve heard several horror

don’t know where you find your
employees but we should find a
way to bottle the magic formula

"I am writing to commend Meghan and Bryan for exceptional customer service. They clearly went out of their way to correct a technical problem I had been experiencing using your online banking system. In fact, Meghan and an associate actually came to my home office to correct a computer problem. She was extremely polite and helpful in solving my puzzle and correcting the problem. I will tell anyone who is inquiring of your bank about my most pleasant experience with your employees. It is truly rare to experience this level of service in today’s impersonal and outsourced business environment."

"We would like to let you know what a wonderful experience we continue to have working with Nancy in your David City office. Since the beginning of January she has made loans for 19 of the last 26 properties that we have sold. Bar none, she is the best banker David City has seen, EVER. She is genuinely working to help people; she does not appear to be concerned with how much money she makes. No other banker is more accommodating with customers, whether it be just to take an application or to close a loan. Nancy is a wonderful person to work with on a regular basis and we hope to continue working with her for many more years."

"Incredible Customer Service and Sincere Concern"
"I am one of those customers that has more than one bank, but I recently considered switching my primary account over to Union Bank, even though I live more than 500 miles from the nearest branch. During the time when I was switching over, I had some major issues with my other bank. When I called the other bank, they were not helpful and seemed like they were against me as opposed to trying to help me solve the problem. I spoke with 4 different employees and managers in 4 different parts of the country and was asked to drive to my local branch in Chicago and then call my original branch in Denver. Needless to say, it was an extremely frustrating experience and was not at all resolved to my satisfaction.
That same day, I spoke with one of Union Bank’s employees, Solomon. He was incredibly attentive and helpful. He was even able to give me guidance on how to deal with my problems at the other bank, which went far above and beyond his role. His advice in how to deal with my other bank actually led me to say the right things and ask the right questions. In the end, because of Solo’s guidance, the issue was resolved.
As a result of Solomon’s incredible customer service and sincere concern about all of my banking needs, I have decided to close all of my other bank accounts and move 100% of my banking business to Union Bank. This may seem ridiculous to some, considering the fact that I am currently living in Chicago, IL, no where near a Union Bank branch. However, I know that if I ever need anything regarding my account, great customer service is only a quick phone call or email away."

"Developing a Personal Bond"
"Today I was contributing to my kids’ 529 plans. I needed to call to get their account numbers to do the transaction. I got Nicole on the phone and had a really nice conversation while she helped me. It was so much more than just answering the questions, as she spent time developing a personal bond. That goes a long way toward creating meaningful long-term customer relationships, customer value and customer loyalty.”

"Jennifer, an employee at your 68th & O Street branch, makes Union Bank a wonderful place to be a customer and I will tell others I know about her great help and interaction. My wife and I came into your branch late one afternoon needing quick help from a notary public and to use a fax machine to get some legal papers to Denver for our son. She was quick to help us, incredibly pleasant, plus we got everything accomplished in under 10 minutes. We’ve been customers for over 15 years and will continue to bank there because of service like this that is the norm at your bank. Jennifer is outstanding!"
"I’ve seldom had the pleasure to write an unsolicited letter
of recommendation regarding another company’s employee—perhaps the
value of customer appreciation is at an all-time low elsewhere, but
not at Union Bank. A potentially negative situation was turned into
one of the best business meetings I’ve had in months. Vickie handled
what could have been a complaint with extreme professionalism and
a customer-first attitude. She handled my issue and ended up having
me open another Union Bank checking account. When I returned 6 hours
later to sign signature cards, she took the time to personally assist
me and during the course of our conversation I put an additional $15M
into a Union Bank Certificate of Deposit. She topped the meeting off
by suggesting I talk to another Union Bank professional to assist
me in other investments. She opened my eyes to where I hold my cash
assets in and outside of Union Bank. She is a great representative
for Union Bank."

"Everyone at Union Bank does a great job. I’ve switched my
personal accounts, my Dad’s trust account, my mother’s credit card,
my mother-in-law’s bank account and our son’s small account to Union
Bank. The reason being the friendly and professional service provided
by Union Bank. Last summer Anne was a lifesaver in helping pay some
home remodel bills while we were in Canada. She even called once to
tell us she’d be out of town for a certain time period and made arrangements
for someone else to help us. What a nice thing to do!"
“Felipe came on the line and was very helpful. His Spanish is excellent, as is his knowledge of banking matters. He addressed me as Senora, which is appropriate. After finding out about locations where I could find a Spanish-speaking teller, he asked if there was anything else he could do for me. I asked about current rates on various accounts. He gave me all the information I was looking for. He was wonderful!”
