Community Commitment

"Simply put, we care about the communities that we are privileged to serve.  There are so many charitable and civic organizations that make our communities a better place to live and work, and it is part of Union Bank’s values to support them through volunteerism and monetary donations." - Angie Muhleisen, President/CEO

Internal Community Involvement Program

Union Bank & Trust’s Community Involvement Program empowers our employees to be city-wide leaders. Individually and collectively,we inspire others to consider how any contribution of time, talent, or money can change lives, while ingraining the importance of community into our company culture.

Our program structure consists of donation drives, volunteer efforts, and fundraising. This program provides a way to bring our employees together as a unified group and give back to our community, all while representing Union Bank.

We are committed to supporting the communities we serve through sponsorships and charitable donations. Below you will find a list of some of the non-profits we have supported this year.

Backpack Program

2017 is Union Bank’s 100th anniversary. Rather than look to the past, we are looking forward to the next 100 years.

One way to invest in the future of our community is to help children and their families. For an entire school year, Union Bank is funding 500 BackPacks in the Food Bank of Lincoln’s BackPack program. This means 500 additional children in need of food will take home a backpack stuffed with food each weekend.

Join us in supporting the Lincoln Food Bank in providing this vital service. Your donation will help fund more food-filled BackPacks for Lincoln children in need. You can donate online or bring a donation to any of our branches. Your online tax deductible donation will go to the Lincoln Food Bank with specific designation to the BackPack program.

To donate online follow the link below.

Providing food to children in need is a great investment in our future.
