HOW IT WORKS
When a church seeks advice from UBT and Semble, they receive an expert assessment of their situation, financials, credibility and investment suitability as we work to secure necessary financing. When the partnership is established, Semble creates an opportunity for interested donors (typically members of your church) to fund a loan listing through Semble’s lending platform. Investors can view the church’s loan request, their financials, why they need the loan, sample loan documents and various narratives that tell the story about the opportunity. Once they decide to support your vision, their investment becomes a “loan” to your church. They’ll be compensated with interest payments and repayment of their principal according to the terms set out in the agreement.
For larger projects, this investment can often reposition a church’s financials to make a traditional loan possible.
