A new website experience, designed with you in mind

Over the years, we’ve gotten lots of helpful feedback from customers like you about our website and the functionalities you’d like to see. Well, we heard you — and we’re proud to announce that UBT.com is getting a complete overhaul, and it’s going live soon. So what does that mean for you?

For starters, please note that this makeover applies to all parts of UBT.com before you log in to your account. Your UBTgo experience will be unchanged, and you’ll still be able to access all of your important information in the same way you do now within UBTgo. 

With that out of the way… let’s go through some of the specific pain points we heard from you that the new site will resolve. 

Why is logging in so hard?!!?!!

We know the login box isn’t always the easiest thing to find. But on the new website, we’re making it easy to find right away when you arrive on the home page. The biggest change is that the login box will now be moving from the left sidebar to the right side of the screen. There will also be a helpful green Login button at the top of each page on the website so no matter where you are, the login function is never far away. From that green Login button, you can choose which account you’re logging into quickly and easily.

If you have a health savings account, are a retirement plan participant, or bank with Business Banking Online, you can also use the green Login button to take you to the appropriate page where you can log in. For those with HSAs or retirement plans with us, if you’ve bookmarked your login page already, the URL will be exactly the same once the new website launches, so you’re good to go!

Where can I find branches and ATMs? 

You’d be surprised how often we get asked if we’re the Union Bank in Virginia — so we’ve made it even easier to find a branch near you right here in Nebraska or in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Right next to that green Login button we talked about, you’ll find a Locations link. When you click it, you’ll be taken to our Locations page, where you can opt to share your location to automatically search for the branch or ATM nearest you or find it on the helpful map. Click on a location name to see information about hours, address, available services, and even directions.

I can’t figure out where to make a loan payment. Help!

This is a common question — so common that we decided to make the loan payment link as easy to find as possible, no matter where you are on the site! In the blue bar at the top of your screen, you’ll find a link that says Make a Loan Payment. Clicking it will take you to our loan payment center, where you can make a one-time payment or easily log into UBTgo to manage your payments from there. We value your loan business, so we want to make the payment process as simple as we can.

We aren’t trying to unseat Google™ as the king of search. But we have drastically improved our search functionality so the results you’re served are relevant to the information you’re seeking out. So, if you search for checking, we’ll bring you information about checking accounts — not checking your credit score. It’s all part of our goal to make our website easier to navigate, so we can connect you quickly to the high-quality information you need.

Who do I talk to about….? 

At UBT, we’re pretty fond of our people, and we pride ourselves on providing a personal touch to everything we do with our customers. So that’s why we’ve made it easier to get local support from local bankers who care. Our new directory lists names and contact information for all of our bankers and customer service reps (as well as a few fun factoids!). We want to put names and faces to the people who are helping you manage your money, and that includes making it easier to contact them.
