Transitioning to UBT Business: What you need to know

In order to best serve our customers, Union Bank & Trust is always seeking to improve the products and services we offer. As such, we will soon be updating the system that provides our business online banking functionality and migrating to a new platform called UBT Business. We want to make sure you have the support you need during this transition, so here are some helpful tips and recommendations from your UBT team to follow ahead of the conversion and beyond.
Before the conversion
- Know your current login credentials. If you need help finding these, please contact Business Support at 402.473.8542.
- Review communications carefully. We will be sending you emails before and after the conversion with key information, so make sure to read these emails and take actions as needed.
- Access training materials, including the training video and first-time login instructions.
- Download any needed history from Desktop Teller. After conversion, your previous history will be unavailable, so you will want to be sure to download your transactions before June 3 at 5 p.m. if you need them for reference. However, deposit information will still be accessible via the transactions on the UBT Business account history page after we go live on June 4.
- Download any necessary third-party transactions. If you download transactions and import them into a third party, download transactions for the month of May out of the current BBO system on June 2 or June 3.
- For Intuit users, the conversion will require two dates where you will need to complete certain actions. The first action date is June 3 at 5 p.m. You will need to save an Intuit data file backup and a final transactional download from BBO by this date. The second action date is June 4, which is when you will need to reconnect Intuit products to UBT Business. We will provide you with more information on how to do that.
During conversion
- Plan for adjustments in system availability:
- BillPay will be unavailable on June 3, so please log in on June 2 to schedule any necessary payments.
- The existing system will be unavailable starting June 3, 2025, at 5 p.m.
- The new system will be available on June 4, 2025, at 8 a.m.
First login
The morning our system goes live, the link to the new site will be available on ubt.com in the same locations that the BBO link was previously, which include the Login tab on www.ubt.com under the Business logins, or in the login widget boxes when available. It will now be titled UBT Business.
Your first-time login can be from either the web browser or via the new UBT Business mobile app. Any saved or bookmarked links that direct you to the current BBO site will need to be deleted, and you’ll need to resave or bookmark the new link.
First time actions
Once you are in the new system, please do the following:
- Confirm all contact information is correct.
- Ensure your accounts are visible as expected.
If there are any other first-time actions you’ll need to take depending on what products you have, we’ll be in touch to walk you through them. These include re-entering items that may not have converted over, as listed below. If this does not apply to you, you can disregard.
- Re-enter any future-dated recurring or one-time transfers if you have any, as these will not move over to UBT Business automatically in the conversion. View the guide here. Please note: These types of transactions refer to internal/account-to-account transfers and loan payments; your external scheduled payments (for example, an automatic debit from a utility provider) will be unaffected.
- Re-enter any wire templates, as these will not convert to the new system. View the guide here.
After conversion
- Access user guides and demos. We will provide a resource hub for you to access resources should you need help using the new system.
- Update your BBO app, or download the new UBT Business mobile app.
- Work through the conversion checklist.
Should you have any questions as you prepare for conversion, don’t hesitate to ask! You can reach our Business Support team at 402.473.8542, or reach out to your relationship manager directly. Thank you as always for your business!
