Living to Serve with FFA

480 Students are invited to participate in one of four volunteer shifts. These students will work together to package 65,000 meals for starving communities around the world. This will help demonstrate how our local agriculture has a global impact.

Union Bank & Trust is proud to support the Nebraska FFA. Agriculture remains the backbone of our Nebraska economy, and we believe the Nebraska FFA is actively building leaders and communities through Ag Education. These Ag Ed Students are the future of Nebraska Agriculture. Living to Serve State Convention Sponsor

Beginning in 2018, Union Bank & Trust partnered with the Nebraska FFA Foundation to create a service-oriented event that would engage students during the Nebraska State FFA convention. Together, FFA students and UBT volunteers packaged over 50,000 meals in 2018 and over 65,000 meals in 2019 for those in need in Nebraska and beyond. The Living to Serve project was a perfect fit for UBT’s community focus and fit within FFA’s focus area of Hunger, Health and Nutrition. Plans are underway for the 2022 event.
