Available on personal checking accounts that are maintained in good standing, this service can allow you to overdraw your account up to $800 ($1,500 for eligible Business Checking accounts).

To qualify for the discretionary overdraft service you do not have to do anything special or sign any additional documents. However, you must opt in to utilize this protection on your everyday debit card and ATM transactions on your personal account.

If you ever find yourself a little short of money, or have an unexpected financial need, we will consider as a courtesy, the payment of your overdraft items up to your assigned Overdraft Privilege limit.

For personal accounts only, if you wish to have overdraft coverage on debit and ATM card transactions, you must opt in.

Your Union Bank & Trust checking account may have a special feature called Overdraft Privilege. This service may provide a safety net in the event there are not enough funds in your account at the time of your purchase. Overdraft Privilege does not include everyday debit card purchases or ATM withdrawals unless you ask us to; if you want us to  authorize and pay overdrafts on these transactions,  you may opt in by clicking the link above.  If you do not choose to opt in to this service, overdrafts will not be paid on everyday debit card and ATM transactions and the transactions will be declined.

Important Information About Procedures For Opening A New Account—
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you; we may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
