Mikaela is a native-Lincolnite mother of three girls. She and her husband enjoy spending time outside with them, painting, watching movies, playing board games, and taking in all the great things Lincoln has to offer young families — Lincoln Children's Zoo, Antelope Park, and the Lincoln Children's Museum.
Starting in the teller role in 2019, Mikaela developed a passion for helping others and she grew through the Customer Service career path. One of her favorite aspects of her current Branch Manager/Officer role is developing her employees and helping her customers discover hidden potential in their unique financial situations using UBT's needs-based banking philosophy. She thrives on connection and helping others grow.
Mikaela completed the Customer Service Propel program in 2021 and 2022 — and graduated from UBT's internal Leadership Development Program in 2024. In 2025, she was promoted to an Officer and accepted a seat on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Lincoln. Mikaela is a past chair and active member of the UBT Young Professionals Group, involved with Lincoln Young Professionals Group, and takes the lead on organizing networking events and growth opportunities for our Customer Service department. She enjoys being actively involved in Lincoln by connecting with the businesses and communities around her branches to see where her team can make the biggest impact, volunteering to teach Junior Achievement and giving her time at our local non-profits.
