Flexible spending account (FSA)

Limited purpose FSA
An employer-sponsored FSA that’s specially designed to pay for eligible dental and vision expenses pre-tax, often in combination with an HSA.
Dependent care FSA
An account for pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible dependent care expenses like daycare, custodial care for dependent adults, and more.
Like a traditional HSA, but with the ability to invest HSA funds in reputable mutual fund families once you cross the $500 threshold.
