Building A Dream: CL Construction

When Chris decided to leave his job and chase his dream of starting his own company in 2010, he worked with the team at UBT’s Wahoo branch to get things off the ground. Since then, CL Construction has been incredibly successful and grown a great deal over the years.

In 2017, Chris formed CL Development LLC, a real estate holding company, and went on to build a 9,000-square-foot facility in North Lincoln, which now serves as the headquarters for CL Construction. He found advocates in T.J. Casady and Todd Furasek at UBT, who helped him with financing solutions that fit his business and vision for growth.

That growth indeed continued, meaning Chris was eventually able to finance an airplane under his aircraft holding company, Cupertino Airlines, LLC, to help him and his team get to and from jobs more efficiently. And when the pandemic hit, Chris secured a PPP loan quickly with UBT’s help and was able to keep his Wahoo and Lincoln workforces on the payroll, helping them live their lives as normally as possible during that time.

Chris and his wife Anne are an outstanding success story, and we’re so happy to see them thriving!
