How to move money in your money market account

Now that you’ve opened a high-yield money market account with UBT, you might be ready to move some money. This guide will run through a few different ways you can do exactly that. Before moving any money, though, you’ll want to make sure you have our routing number and your account number handy:

• Routing number: UBT’s routing number is 104910795. For easy access in the future, write this number down, refer back to this blog, or check the bottom of any page on our website.
• Account number: From a web browser: Log in to UBTgo and click on the name of your account. Then, click Details in the top right and click Show Full Account Number. In the mobile app: Tap on your account’s name and then tap Details on the right side of the screen.

How to deposit money or move your money

We offer a few different options to move money virtually. Here’s a quick breakdown, with links to resources that go more in depth:

• Bank-to-bank transfers: UBTgo allows you to easily transfer funds to and from other financial institutions, and you can also schedule these transfers to be made immediately, on a specific future date, or on a recurring basis. You can also send money to your UBT account by using another financial institution’s online banking system, following their standard bank-to-bank transfer processes.
• Direct deposits: You can set up direct deposits to your UBT account with your employer. When doing so, please mark your UBT account as a checking account. Here’s a form you can take to your HR team to make the process easy.
• Mobile deposits: Did you know you can deposit checks by simply taking a picture of them in our mobile app? Click here for more info.

You’ll have the flexibility to access your funds via your UBT debit card, if you request one, and through account-to-account transfers. If you need to have cash on hand, we also offer access to the MoneyPass network of ATMs.
