Select your account type

Choose whether you want to open a checking account, a savings account, or both.

Start the application

Once you’ve decided on the account(s), it’s time to start the application process. If you’re an existing customer, you’ll use your UBTgo credentials to fill out the application. If you’re a new customer, you’ll need to set up a UBT profile before you apply. Need help? Click here.

Gather important information and open the account(s)

You’ll need your Social Security number and government-issued ID, and you’ll need your kid’s Social Security number as well. If you would like your child to have their own UBTgo credentials, you’ll need to enter a different email address for your child when prompted.

Read some tips on account setup

Once the account is opened, help them get the most out of it by following these best practices.

Learn how to move money to and from their account

You’ll also want to make sure you know how to help them make withdrawals and deposits into their account. Click here to learn more.
