Frequently Asked Questions

What qualifies a nonprofit as small, medium, or large?

This will be determined by the size of the nonprofit’s 2022 operating budget provided with an application.

Our nonprofit is located in Lincoln/Lancaster County, but we also serve areas in Nebraska outside of this. Do we qualify?

Yes, as long as you are a local nonprofit in the Lincoln/Lancaster County area and not part of a national organization, and all funds will be used to support the Lincoln/Lancaster County area.

Are we able to submit photos/video with our application?

Yes, we are requiring at least one photo, and accepting up to five, with your application.

Is there a timeline that winners must use the funds by?

No. However, we will be checking in with the 10 winners six months after the giveaway to get an update on the impact they have made in our community with the funds received.

How will we know if we are being included in the community vote?

You will be contacted by Union Bank by August 8, 2022.
