Bailey’s Story
Countryside Pediatric Dentistry
Bailey is a longtime UBT customer who was fresh out of dental school and motivated to make her dream of opening her own dental practice come true. And with help from Mike, a knowledgeable UBT commercial banker, Countryside Pediatric Dentistry went from dream to reality. Click through to read more about Bailey’s partnership with UBT.
Pop-Up Shop Success
My Big Fat Greek Bakery
Our pop-up shop space at Union Bank Place has offered several small businesses the chance to try out what life would be like with a brick-and-mortar store front. Our most recent success story is Fay of My Big Fat Greek Bakery, who used her time at the pop-up shop cultivating a fast-growing audience for her authentic Greek treats. Click through to learn more about Fay and her homemade confections.
From Startup to Success
CL Construction
Starting a company is always a risk. But with the help of UBT, Chris founded not one, but three successful endeavors: CL Construction, CL Development, and Cupertino Airlines. Click through to read more about Chris’s businesses and how UBT has helped him grow.
A Connected Corner
Three small businesses, thriving
One of the great things about any community are the small businesses that give them character. On Lincoln’s corner of 48th & Prescott in College View, character (and characters) abound, with three business owners who are a huge part of this successful community. Check out their story of growth and friendship.
The Proof is in the Roof
Vernco Roofing
RJ Vernon built his business just like so many of the homes he expertly roofs — from the ground up. As his business grows, so has his relationship with his UBT business banker, who’s always there to back him up and move his business forward.
Walking the Guac
Moose’s Mad Fresh
Matthew “Moose” Morrison is known throughout Lincoln as the man behind the “mad fresh” homemade guacamole, hummus, and salsas found at local markets and vendor events. At one of those events, he met Steph from UBT’s Small Business team, and they hit it off. We’re proud to help power this thriving (and tasty) local business!
A Sweet Start
Susa’s Sweets
The first pop-up shop business owner to take up residency in Union Bank Place resulted in a smashing success. Bia Espinoza, owner of Susa’s Sweet & Balloons, brought her sweet disposition and even sweeter treats to the space inside our newest location in downtown Lincoln for more than four months at the end of 2023.
