We’re excited to be launching a new alerts interface that will soon be available via UBTgo! These alerts will provide notifications via SMS text and/or email, and you will now be able to receive key information in a timelier manner for actions occurring on your accounts, like transactions and balance changes. You’ll also receive additional updates for time-sensitive matters such as CD maturity.

Your current alerts will be migrated to the new interface automatically; however, some alert types are being phased out in this update, including loan maturity alerts, secure message alerts, and reminder alerts. Additionally, the balance alert will reflect your available balance rather than current balance. (Your available balance is the balance that is available for your use at the time of the alert, including pending activity, whereas your current balance is your total balance, not counting any pending activity.) Balance alerts and daily balance alerts will only be offered for checking, savings, CD, and IRA balances. Loan daily balance and balance threshold alerts will no longer be offered.

Please note that text alerts will come from a new short code, which means that your alert history will not be converted over to the new interface. However, once alerts are received from the new system, your alert history will begin to populate, and up to 30 days of history will be available at a time.

Debit card controls and alerts that were set up in the Debit Cards section of UBTgo will not be impacted; however, following the conversion, if you are getting duplicate or too many alerts, you can adjust them by either navigating to the Profile section or Debit Cards.

If you have any questions about how the new alerts will function, don’t hesitate to reach out to Customer Support at 800.297.2837 and they’ll be happy to help!
