Making a Difference
Caring for our communities
UBT’s employees are encouraged to get involved with local nonprofits, churches, sports teams, and civic groups. You’ll find our employees rolling up their sleeves or sharpening their pencils in many ways to make our communities a better place to live, work, and play. And we’re proud to say it starts at the top with President and CEO Angie Muhleisen, who instilled those values long ago and continues to champion them today.
A History of Growth
Family-owned and thriving since 1965
It hasn’t always been easy, but the bustling, growing Union Bank & Trust that you see today could only become what it is — and will be in the future — by staying true to our core mission. Through employee satisfaction, excellent customer service, and a diverse offering of services, UBT has grown through all the ups and downs and has big plans for the future. And we’d love you to be a part of it all, whether it’s as a customer or as a member of the team.

What Our Employees Say
Meet Tom
“My career at UBT began in the mid-‘80s as a part of the student program. After graduating and spending time in different parts of the country, we moved back to Lincoln in 2001, and I’ve been with the bank since then. I wanted to be part of a growing organization that did things the right way. As a family-owned organization, UBT has the flexibility to truly think long-term, not worrying about posting growth to meet Wall Street expectations. We have the ability to always do what is in our customers’ best interest, regardless of short-term implications. Doing the right thing for the customer today leads to a long-term relationship that pays dividends in the future.”
– Tom Sullivan, First Vice President, Lincoln
